About Me
My name is Laura – I started L-FIT 5 years ago when I realised I experienced profound joy in helping women and my community (the LGBTQI+ community) to feel confident, develop a healthier lifestyle and mindset and improve their overall physical health and well-being.
I recognise that physical training and knowledge of how to improve your well-being has the ability to turn your life around and discover your best self. I use this knowledge to help people with personally tailored fitness plans and support, with a special brand of motivational training that speaks to mind and body.
From a young age I struggled with confidence, body image and identity. I’ve worked in a wide range of different roles and industries; equine industry, business and marketing, photography, as a musician and then as a Personal Trainer & Fitness Instructor. I’ve always been involved in some sport or activity to help conquer these challenges. Over a decade of Martial Arts training has especially given me the foundation for creating a strong mind and body and boosting my mental health.
My mission is for you to be strong, feel confident and proud of who you are.
